Each year, during the last weekend in September, the Purple Hills Arts and Heritage Society holds a tour of artists' studios in Creemore and the surrounding area in Clearview township. Over its 20 year history this tour has become a popular fall event for both area residents and visitors.
The tour offers both scenic drives along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, as well as opportunities to visit local artists at work in their studios. Indeed, many of the artists who participate in the tour gain their inspiration from the area around them.
Please join us to see the work of over 40 resident and guest artists representing a wide variety of disciplines - sculpture, woodworking, glass, fabric, photography, clay and painting - who showcase their best work for your enjoyment.
