Wood turning has been an interest of mine for over 4 years now but particularly since my retirement last July with the obvious increase of time available to pursue this craft. Mainly, I have created bowls from a limited variety of Canadian hardwoods (black cherry, walnut, oak, butternut, birch). I particularly enjoy the decision as to type of bowl that should be created from the piece of wood on hand. My work is available at With Our Hands, 145 Mill Street in Creemore.
