A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed. -Ansel Adams
Photography has allowed me to look, sometimes to the point of distraction, in an attempt to see beyond that which is complex and reduce it to its simplest form. My images consist of mainly light and shadow on lines and textures with the end result demonstrating the graphics that lie within. It is another way of taking the complexity out of our world and simplifying it.
Many of my photographs are of parts of classic planes, boats, and cars. Others may be of sand, water, and perhaps an old door. There is no end as to what one can see.
Which of my photographs is my favourite? It is the one I’m going to take tomorrow. -Imogen Cunningham
